Privacy & Cookies

We collect nothing about you.

No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies. This site stores nothing about you, unless you choose to email us, in which case we use your message to reply. That is the whole policy. The detail below just says it carefully.

Privacy policy Who we are, what we process, and your rights.

The short version, in plain words.

Niavicta does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking on this website. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share data. The only personal data we ever hold is what you send us, for example when you email hello@niavicta.com, and we use it only to reply to you and to continue that conversation.

01 · Who we are

The data controller.

Niavicta, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, is the controller for any personal data described here. Questions, or any request about your data, go to hello@niavicta.com.

02 · What we collect

Only what you send us.

Browsing this site, we ask for nothing and store nothing about you. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address) to deliver the site securely. That is a normal part of how the web works.

03 · Why we use it

To answer you, nothing more.

We process the contents of your message to respond, to understand whether nianav OS fits your situation, and to keep the thread going if you want to talk further. Our basis for this is your own request to be in contact, and our legitimate interest in replying to it.

04 · How long we keep it

Only as long as it's useful.

We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation is live or relevant to a possible working relationship, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will.

Your rights under the GDPR.

Because we operate from the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation applies. You have the right to ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these, just email hello@niavicta.com. There is no form to fill in.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you also have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We would always rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

Cookie notice Spoiler: this site sets no cookies at all.

No cookies. We mean it literally.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, often to track you across pages or sites. This website asks for none. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party scripts loading them in the background. Every font, image, and script is served from our own site.

Because we set no non-essential cookies, EU law does not require us to ask for your consent to them. The notice you saw when you arrived is not a consent gate; it is simply us telling you, plainly, that you are not being tracked.

The one technical exception

A single “you've seen this” flag.

So the welcome notice does not reappear on every visit, your browser remembers that you dismissed it using a small entry in its local storage (niavicta_notice_ack). It lives only in your browser, holds no personal data, is never sent to us, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data. It is strictly functional, which is why it needs no consent.

If that ever changes

We'll ask first.

If we ever add something that does track you, such as analytics or an embedded video from another service, we will update this page and ask for your consent properly, with a real choice to accept or decline, before it loads.

Honest by default.
It's the whole point.

We build software that makes compliance a byproduct of doing the work honestly. It would be strange to run this website any other way.
