Building a company while building a company-building tool.

Jasmine and I are building a company. The company is building software. The software builds companies. And because we are a company too, somewhere in there the loop closes on itself, and we end up running Niavicta on the very idea we are selling. It is kind of like Inception, right? Except nobody is lost in anybody's dream, because the deeper you go, the more real it gets.

The thing is, nianav OS is an operating system for companies that have to prove how they work, the regulated ones, where the work and the record have to be the same thing. And while we build it, we run ourselves on the same idea in its most primitive form: one shared brain, one board, one record of what we decided and why. We are our own first customer, with the messiest requirements and the least patience.

And that is the part I find to be really awesome, because we get to live the experience while we are building it. Every week we hit some moment our customers are going to hit, the drift, the decision, the thing that was finished a while ago and still looks open on the board, and we hit it first, in our own company, where the only casualty is our pride. Then we close the gap in the product before anyone pays for it.

So when a customer eventually stands at the start of that road, we are not handing them a map we drew from research. We walked the same journey they are about to walk, the whole way, in the same shoes, and the software remembers every step. That is what building a company while building a company-building tool means, and I would not trade the strange loop for a normal one.
