Privacy policy

How this website handles data.

Last updated: 18 May 2026

This policy explains what Niavicta collects when you visit this website. It covers the public website at niavicta.com and the static pages in this repository.

Controller and contact

Niavicta, Utrecht, the Netherlands, is responsible for this website. You can contact us at hello@niavicta.com.

What the website collects

The website itself does not run analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, third-party forms, third-party embeds, or remote font services. It does not set cookies and it does not use localStorage. A single sessionStorage entry is used only to remember that you have dismissed the privacy notice for the rest of your browser session; it is automatically cleared when you close the tab.

When you visit the site, the hosting provider may process standard technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user agent, and basic error or security logs.

Contact by email

If you click an email link or send us an email, we process the personal data you choose to include, such as your name, email address, organisation, message content, and related correspondence. We use this to reply to you and manage the relationship you asked us to start.

Purposes and legal bases

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies and does not use localStorage. The privacy and cookie notice records your dismissal in a single sessionStorage entry so it does not reappear on every internal page navigation in the same browser session. That entry is automatically cleared when you close the tab.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts are hosted locally with the website files. Visiting the site does not request fonts from Google Fonts or another remote font provider. The public pages do not load third-party scripts or embedded third-party content.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell website visitor data. Technical request data may be processed by the hosting provider that serves the website. Email correspondence may be processed by our email provider. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by GDPR.

Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to respond, manage the business relationship, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Hosting logs are retained by the hosting provider according to its operational and security retention settings.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing of your personal data. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.

Changes

We may update this policy when the website or our processing changes. The date above shows the latest version.
