A single sessionStorage entry is used only to remember that you have dismissed the privacy notice for the rest of your browser session; it is automatically cleared when you close the tab.
When you visit the site, the hosting provider may process standard technical request data needed to deliver and secure the website, such as your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser user agent, and basic error or security logs.
